What we review

Discuss the mature size, nearby structures and utilities, sunlight, drainage and access for delivery. Let us know whether you already have the tree or need to arrange its supply. The estimate should identify the number, size, planting locations and preparation included.

How we define the work

Relocating an established tree requires a separate feasibility review. Size, condition, root system, season and access can limit what is practical. Replanting is not suitable for every tree, and successful establishment cannot be promised simply because a tree can be moved.

Before and after your visit

Before completion, agree who will water and monitor the tree and how follow-up concerns should be reported. Water needs depend on the tree, soil and weather. Keep mulch away from direct trunk contact and discuss the planting-specific care plan with the crew.

Tree sealing needs the right context. We discuss the species, the type of wound and when it occurred before recommending a scope. Painting a wound is not a repair for decayed wood, a split trunk or a tree that needs a separate structural assessment.
