What we review

Access width, nearby fences, slopes, stones, irrigation and known utilities affect the work. Tell us whether you plan to plant again, establish grass or simply remove the visible obstruction. The intended use helps define the appropriate preparation and follow-up.

How we define the work

The estimate should state the stump or stumps included, the agreed grinding extent and what happens to the grindings. Removing material, bringing in soil and restoring turf are separate decisions. The ground may settle as remaining organic material breaks down.

Before and after your visit

Share the number and approximate width of stumps and a safe photo showing access. Mark features you know about and confirm underground-service arrangements before work. If you want a replacement tree, discuss its location before assuming the old stump spot is suitable.
